Allerpet/C for Cats

I have the cutest, fluffiest cat, but unfortunately he makes my eyes itchy and watery and makes me sneeze like crazy. In order to combat this problem so that I can enjoy my time with him, I have started using Allerpet Cat. After brushing the cat I take a cloth dampened with Allerpet and run it over his coat. At first he didn't like it, but now he is used to it and actually seems to enjoy the weekly ritual.

What I like about Allerpet/C
T1 - Cat shedding of Fel d I is not reduced by washings, Allerpet-C spray, or acepromazine

We already tried switching to crystal cat litter. (Which has almost no scent or dust.) We used hypoallergenic/shed control wipes. Vacuumed. Etc. The only thing he didn’t try was taking allergy pills. He took one after we already dropped her off at my Mom’s, and it seemed to help, but we don’t know for sure, since he isn’t around the cat anymore. 6. A non-allergic individual should brush the pet regularly, outside of the home.

Platts-Mills, MD, PhD, University of Virginia Asthma and Allergic Disease Center, Box 225, Health Science Center, Charlottesville, VA 22908. ALLERPET/C is formulated specifically for cats and . . . for people who are allergic to cats. Allerpet/C cleanses the hair of saliva (Fel d1) and dander, the prime causes of allergic reactions to cats. It is absolutely non-toxic and safe to use on kittens.Cats produce more dander than any other animal. Their major allergen is known as Fel d1, the most potent of all pet-related allergens. If you're sensitive to it, you know, because you can't even enter a home where a cat lives without immediately getting itchy eyes, sneezing, and wheezing! These allergens are microscopic and float freely around your house. And with today's houses that are better sealed and have forced-air central heating and air conditioning, the same air keeps getting recirculated over and over again with the same allergens in it.Although Allerpet for Cats is specifically formulated to help remove cat allergens and soften your kitty's skin, it should really be called Allerpet for Cat Owners. Why? Because it helps people who are allergic to cats live with them more comfortably!Cats spend an estimated 30-40 percent of their waking time grooming themselves and their companions. This deposits copious amounts of saliva on their coats, which dries and then flakes off the hair to circulate throughout your house. This is an additional cat allergen to which some people are sensitive. Allerpet for Cats cleanses the cat's hair of sebaceous gland secretions (the Fel d1 allergen), saliva and dander, the three main causes of allergic reactions to cats. Allerpet is non-oily and will not leave a residue on your cat's coat to attract other allergens. It contains no fragrance. Completely safe to use regardless of how frequently your cat grooms, even if that's immediately after using Allerpet. (And you know it will be!)
