I work at a Petsmart store actually as a groomer and all the time I get customers coming in asking about their dogs coat, needing gain weight on their dog, or their dog has food allergies. I always recommend simply nourish. I own to Great Danes that were very picky about their food and had a sensitive stomach to almost everything. They needed something to help them gain weight so I purchase is simply nourish dry dog food and then purchase the wet simply nourish dog food and mixed in with their dry dog food. They started gaining weight and their coats got more shiny as if it could. I get compliments everywhere I go asking what do I feed my dogs and what do I wash them in. I give simply nourish 5 stars without a doubt!

Lately I have been having a lot of problems with dog food and one of my dogs who has a very sensitive system so I have put in a lot of time researching different brands of food and their ingredients, where they are sourced from, where the food itself is manufactured etc. The last food I tried was supposedly top of the line and a limited ingredient diet but he had a pretty violent reaction to it. My other dogs did not but I still wanted to change that food because I don’t even want to risk it in the house. So I went to petsmart again and began looking at brands of food in their premium pet food section. I did buy a medium sized bag of this food to begin switching my other dogs over to. Before I started the switching over I realized that I didn’t really know anything about this brand of food so I started looking for information on it and there was none to be had. I searched online for the company but there is no company called Simply Nourish. On the bag it says it is distributed out of Arizona but other than that no manufacturing information, no website, just a phone number so I called it. I guess I was expecting for someone from Simply Nourish to answer but the phone was answered: “Petsmart”. So I asked about the food and the girl could not provide me with any information on the food whatsoever without researching further, which she did. She then came back on the line, confirmed that it was a house brand (which was information that I specifically had to ask for), that it was manufactured for them in Utah (by who she could not tell me) and she also couldn’t tell me if any of the ingredients were sourced from China, or anywhere else for that matter. BTW, sourcing some ingredients from China is an industry wide practice to my understanding. Most reputable brands no longer source protein from there but other vitamins and minerals are routinely sourced from China. Simply Nourish dog food, a product produced and sold by a company named PetSmart, is the dog food brand that’s going to be under the microscope in today’s article. Also, and since they include only natural ingredients in their dog food that gives dogs all the nutrients and minerals they need (as if they were eating a completely natural diet in the wild), PetSmart assure their customers that no useless filler is included in their Simply Nourish dog food line either, as there’s no need to.With Simply Nourish dog food, PetSmart pride themselves in taking a simplistic approach to producing dog food, whereby they take pride in using simple yet very nutritious ingredients in their dog food composition.Simply Nourish provides you an impressively wide range of dog food formulas. The company is producing both dry as well as wet (canned) dog foods. Thus, the pet owners get a wide range of possibilities. They need not stick to one formula while selecting a dog food for their pets. In addition to wet and dry dog foods, a wide range of Simply Nourish dog treats are also available on the market. The other day I was at Petsmart (where I only occasionally shop), and the clerk recommended their brand called Simply Nourish. The stuff LOOKS really good, almost like human food, and she claims it's their equivalent to Blue Buffalo. I figured why not, and much to my surprise, he absolutely loves it! He gobbled down the first can, then immediately started to beg for more - so I gave him another 1/2 can. The stuff isn't really cheap @ $2/can, but since I supplement with treats and some kibble, I can swing 1-2 per day. Has anyone heard about this brand, either good or bad? It would make things a little more complicated, since I do most of my pet shopping at Pet Club or a local/independent shop... but for the sake of my boy, I'm willing to make 3 stops! The brand is mostly trusted by dog owners, especially loyal Petsmart customers. And its food is highly-rated on the website. However, there are some reviews that have mentioned a discrepancy in the ingredients listed on the bags compared to those listed on the website. One customer notes that a bag of Simply Nourish Limited Ingredient Sweet Potato & Salmon Recipe listed as ingredients. However, Simply Nourish failed to list this on the website. If this is true, it is cause for concern about this brand of dog food.
